Date: November 1ST 2002. (Can you believe it?)

Geography: Montreal, what a city!

Point form day: Up at 6:30am (after 2 hours of sleep) -crabbed to the CBC for a radio interview -laughed our way through a pretty fun interview -it started to snow -back to the Delta Hotel to pick up the RV -drove across town to hang out with old folks -went to a local mall and went shopping and walking -Chris and I ran up Mount Royal in the snow -sang Happy Birthday to Louise in French -took the Metro across town to visit France Geoffroy -had an inspiring and inquisitive few hours talking to France -wandered the night streets of Montreal -had dinner -watched a movie -hit the sack.

Highlight of the day: Walking the mall with Pearl (80's) and Ida (97). We laughed, we walked, we bought cough drops. These were some seriously classic women. We all got along famously. Also running through the woods on top of Montreal with Chris while snow lightly fell was a highlight.

Most inspiring moment: Talking to France. She invited me into her home and we had fantastic conversations about life, love, drive and inspiration. We are kindred spirits in so many ways.

Shout outs: Brad Stokes! While Chris, Val and myself were being interviewed on CBC radio Brad was being interviewed on CTV television by himself. Brad, dude, you were fantastic, great work! Pearl and Ida. You are two very hip women. France, keep making the world beautiful. You inspire me.

Classic quote: "Ya know I'm not 18 anymore!"-Ida a very earnest 97 year old in response to me telling her we were headed to the mall.

My crux: Trying to fit it all in. I could spend another month in Montreal and not be satisfied. I seriously love this town.

Physically speaking: Quite good although my knees are a little sore.

Mental stimulation: Trying to find my way around the city.

Big laughs: At the mall with Ida and Pearl.

When I finished writing this I was: In dire need of a bathroom.
