Extreme Kindness

Geography: Calgary Alb.

Point form day: Up and movin by early, radio interview, press conference, loaded toys into the Salvation Army van, went to the center for hope, volleyball game and BBQ with the employees of the hotel, had a dinner meeting with SAS, hit the sack.

Highlight of the day: Knowing that we were putting some great vibe in the world to counter the negative vibe of the same date last year.

Most inspiring moment: Having the crew stop for a moment and be very moved by a live broadcast from ground zero. We all stopped, took a moment, and all left to at the same time without saying a word. It was very powerful.

Shout outs: Thanks to the guy at the center of hope for the memorial Calgary coin. Casper, you rule! Thanks for transporting us around.

Classic Quote: “You’ve lost that loving feeling….” Brad and I serenaded one of the volunteers at the Center for Hope. Oh, it was sooo bad. I am a pretty terrible singer.

My Crux: The kindness marathons are taxing and long days.

Physically Speaking: Great except for getting hit in the head with a metal serving tray

Mental Stimulation: If you consider getting hit in the head with a serving tray mental stimulation, I’m stimulated.

Big Laughs: When I missed the Radio interview because I was going to the bathroom. The announcer said we had 10 minutes and I had to go…. By the time I got out they were just saying, “ Thanks a lot guys, you really are doing a great thing.” AAAhhh crap!

When I finished writing this I was: Sitting on a cold sidewalk getting a cold bum.
