Extreme Kindness

Date: October, 23rd 2002

Geography: En route to Toronto.

Point form day: Up at 6:00am -had a local radio interview -spoke at the Bluewater Rotary -handed out roses with the mayor -checked out of the hotel -went to get the RV checked out -said goodbye to Rod Brown -drove to Niagara Falls -spent an hour or so playing around the falls (I hopped the fence -rolled back into Toronto -met up with Jacqueline and Erin from the National Ballet and went to a local pub -watched Shawshank Redemption (in the RV) and went to bed.

Highlight of the day: Woke up too early and spoke to the Rotary. I felt I delivered one of the smoothest, unique and most directed talks I have ever done. It is really satisfying to know that I was beyond tired and still could speak with passion and purpose.

Most inspiring moment: The Falls. Niagara is just such an awesome display of power. It makes me feel really great about this trip. I love that we have traveled this far.

Shout outs: Thanks Sarniaflowers.com for the roses, Rod Brown you are a mover and a shaker in Sarnia. Thanks for making magic happen while we were in town.

Classic quote: "Is this the bus to the airport." -a random woman who walked up to the bus when we momentarily pulled up in front of a hotel.

My crux: It's tough to head back to Toronto when I know we have so much more of Canada to see.

Physically speaking: Fantastic. Except for a slice on my finger and some bruising.

Mental stimulation: I taught myself to learn how to use PowerPoint today.

Big laughs: I pinned Val and recited poetry to him against his will. He was trapped there was nothing he could do.

When I finished writing this I was: Watching the sunset.
