Extreme Kindness

Geography: Regina, Sask.

Point form day: -Up early for radio interviews –walked to the stations –had some bizarre interviews –returned to the hotel for the press conference –went to the streets to do RAK with CHIP employees –we encouraged people to honk for kindness –went to the legislature buildings and did RAK’s –changed one of the 4 red lights burnt out on the very top of the legislature –escorted people about the halls -headed to the local cable station for one of the funniest interviews I have ever had -devoured one of the finest steak meals of my life at Vic’c steakhouse –bed.

Highlight of the day: The Access TV interview. You can not pay to laugh that hard on public television.

Most inspiring moment: Creating a serious center for Kindness out in front of the Regina Inn. The hotel staff were excellent. They had that street corner rocking in the name of kindness.

Shout outs: Laura, wonderful job. Kindness Team, thanks for all you work. Patrick, great media coverage. The folk at Town Talk, thanks for putting up with us and for giving us the vests. The Guys and girls at the legislature building for giving us special access to the roof.

Classic Quote: “HHHHHHHAAAAACCCCCCCCCHHHHK” Chris’s ‘chewing a Donair’ sound that he repeated about 20 times randomly throughout the interview.

My Crux: Trying not to laugh. I am also concerned about how cold it’s getting.

Physically Speaking: Fantastic.

Mental Stimulation: Great.

Big Laughs: Trying to take the shoes off of the host of Town Talk while on air. The host had been completely somber throughout the previous 45min of the show. (At one point we even thought he may have fallen asleep) When we came on we decided to try and mix it up. We tried to take his shoes off to give him a foot massage and he started laughing so hard I thought he was going to fall off his chair. Pure comedy.

When I finished writing this I was: More than ready for bed.
