Extreme Kindness

Erik's Journal

Date: October 24th 2002.

Geography: Toronto, (session 2)

Point form day: Woke up in the parking lot behind Erin's apartment- Jon got bit in the but by a dog -met with a Toronto web producer - went on to the streets with 100$ and asked how they would spend it to make the world a better place. We took the best suggestion which was to split it up and disperse it in various forms to the people of Toronto. We gave to the homeless, bought pizza and wraps, went out with various much music VJ's and handed out coffee, we paid for someone's spot on speakers corner, bought people lottery tickets, randomly flipped people loonies, bought and handed out flowers, left money on the sidewalk.

Highlight of the day: Hooking up with George Stremoplolpolus (the much music VJ) and doing RAK. This guy was pretty cool.

Most inspiring moment: Hooking up with some young girls who were really stoked on what we were doing. Dorothy, Lindsay x2, Erin and the rest suggested that we take the 100$, split it into loonies and disperse it. It is fantastic to see people who can be creative and take action. You girlz rule.

Shout outs: Thanks Erin and Jacqueline from the National Ballet for hosting us yet again. You both rule.

Classic quote: "I just got bit in the ass buy a dog" -Jonny while whipping down his pants to expose puncture wounds in his left cheek. Ouch!

My crux: My lack of spark.

Physically speaking: I was sleepy and lethargic today. I need to do some yoga and have a meditation. I am also in need of a haircut.

Mental stimulation: We brainstormed some crazy ideas today.

Big laughs: I was randomly flipping people loonies and flipped one at a stern faced guy walking towards me. He was completely unresponsive and the coin (which I had expected him to catch) hit the front of his jacket and slid into his front pocket. I burst out laughing in disbelief. A couple of women walking down the street saw what happened and they were stoked. It was very funny.

When I finished writing this I was: This close, > <, to falling asleep.
