Extreme Kindness

Erik's Journal

Date: October 22, 2002.

Geography: Sarnia, Ontario.

Point form day: Up with no brecky -had a local radio interview talk radio -spoke at two local high schools and had a blast - handed out flowers and hugs in the mall -went for an amazing lunch -worked out at the YMCA -stayed up too late working on journals, pictures and emails.
Highlight of the day: The talk interview.
Most inspiring moment: Talking to the Grade 12s in a local high school. There are some really fantastic kids out there. Take time from your day and talk to a couple. I dare you. Some of these guys and girls will blow your mind.

Shout outs: Jenny's flowers. Thank you for making it happen. Thanks you Tanya for driving us around all day. Thanks to all the teachers who were daring enough to have us in the classroom. The YMCA. They deserve props for getting us in for a free workout.

Classic quote: "Who would pay 1000$ for a Yorkshire terrier when you could go to the SPCA and get a rat for free?" Chris talking to his girlfriend about the deficits of paying for dogs.

My crux: Time and lack there of. I need to add an extra 4 hours to each day.

Physically speaking: Seriously great. Thank you YMCA. I feel wonderful.

Mental stimulation: Mixing it up when speaking to the classes
Big laughs: Chris pretending to get the news wire through the headphones.

When I finished writing this I was: Past my bedtime.
