September 1, 2002

Chris just took over driving as we leave behind a myriad of adventures in Merrit BC. From riding stick horses in the bar to wild horses in the mountains and meeting some of the friendliest people in the valley, we didn’t have a chance to catch our breath. We started the first day with a 3 dollar breakfast of bacon and eggs than off to a Ranch to prepare a mock golf course for an yearly fund raiser. Afterwards we jetted to another location to risk several necks, mine and Erik’s, in a riding experience of a lifetime. I have now ridden a horse that had never had anyone but myself on it before. It was one of the most interesting experiences of my life. I than threw myself into the lake in place of a shower. The neat part of this stop was seeing some people respond to RAOK when they would not normally do so. One of the locals couldn’t get over how he had actually take a whole day to help us out. It was something he had never done before…..thanks Willy.

Okay, Kelly’s crying for the computer, I should probably humour him.
B.
